PURPOSE
The main purpose of Kamwenge Secondary and Vocational Institute is to build the capacity of individuals in a Christian context through the provision of academic and employable skills for sustainable socio-economic development.
Director John Mulindabigwi has been working among the disadvantaged in Kamwenge for many years. He desires to build up the future generations of Uganda by equipping individuals with the provision of vocational skills in a Christian environment.
His vision of establishing KSVI has been warmly welcomed by the community and local government.
The school targets those in need by giving subsidized fees and scholarships. This is done through self-sustaining projects performed by students in the vocational program. Each skill creates income generating projects as they market the goods for the community, benefiting the community and the students while equipping them with life-skills.
We aim to develop the entire community of Kamwenge through the equipping and motivation of the students that attend KSVI. >>>THE GOAL
